Las Olas City Centre Pays Tribute to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School

To honor the victims and survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas (MSD) High School shooting, Bank of America Plaza at Las Olas City Centre in Fort Lauderdale is lighting up the skyline in MSD’s burgundy red school color. On February 21 at approximately 7:00 PM, the JLL-managed office building faded to black for 1 minute of reflection. This was repeated 17 times every 10 minutes to honor each of the lives lost that day before returning to the school color.  The building will remain lit in MSD’s burgundy school color throughout the remainder of the February to show solidarity with the community and families impacted by this tragedy.
