In 2017, grocery-anchored centers grew by 5.4 percent –– a vote of confidence among investors that grocery stores will not be disappearing anytime soon. Florida was one of the top five states in the U.S. for growth in the sector, posting a 6.0 percent increase over 2016 in new grocery space.
